CEREC® uses CAD/CAM dentistry. This involves digital imaging that is uploaded to the CEREC® computer software. Once uploaded, Dr. Paul Shinto and his team of Pasadena Dentists will create the perfect dental crown before sending it off to the in-office milling machine for manufacture.
The materials used for CEREC® Crowns look just as natural as your own teeth and because there are so many colors to choose from to match your teeth, no one will know that your teeth have been restored. The materials used for CEREC® Crowns are strong and sturdy, and because there is no metal used, such as porcelain to metal crowns and metal crowns, your teeth will look natural.
If you are a good candidate for CEREC® Crowns, Dr. Paul Shinto and his team of Pasadena Dentists will take digital pictures of the tooth or teeth that are to be restored. Once satisfied with the image results, the pictures will be sent to the milling machine. During this time, you are free to check your email, social media pages or just relax.
When your new crown or crowns are ready, Dr. Shinto and his team of Pasadena Dentists will place the crown before buffing and polishing.
