CEREC® Crowns can be placed in a single dental appointment, and unlike conventional dental crowns, do not require a temporary crown as everything is done in house at your Pasadena Cosmetic Dentist Center. Dr. Paul Shinto and his team of Pasadena dentists have the skills and the expertise to place your new CEREC® Crown and are preferred CEREC® providers.

Not all dentists in Pasadena have the experience or the equipment to place CEREC® Dental Crowns, but Dr. Paul Shinto and his team of Pasadena Dentists does.

What is CEREC®?

CEREC® is a remarkable dental procedure that uses CAD/CAM Dentistry, a computer system, to create and make your new dental crown or crowns. CEREC® is made from a highly durable material that looks and feels as natural as your own teeth.

Is Everyone a Candidate for CEREC®?

If your teeth and gums are healthy, you are a good candidate for CEREC®. If you are suffering from gum disease or have tooth decay, Dr. Paul Shinto and his team of Pasadena Dentists will need to take care of that before placing your new CEREC® Crown.

What is the CEREC® Process?

During your CEREC® Pasadena dental procedure, Dr. Paul Shinto and his team of Pasadena Dentists will take digital pictures using the patented CEREC® CAD/CAM system.

Once satisfied with the results, a color will be chosen to match the rest of your natural teeth. After everyone is happy, the plans for your new dental crown will be sent to the in office milling machine for manufacture. While you wait for your new CEREC® Crown, which takes about 30 to 45 minutes, you are free to relax, check your email, chat on social media, or watch TV.

When your new dental crown is ready, it will be temporarily placed to check for fit and color. If Dr. Paul Shinto is happy with the results, your dental crown will be permanently bonded to the tooth, buffed and polished to perfection.
