Leave Temporaries Behind with CEREC Crowns

CEREC Crowns Pasadena are revolutionary when it comes to cosmetic and restorative dental procedures. CEREC Crowns give traditional porcelain and metal dental crowns the boot thanks to the in office system that will give you a new smile in a little over an hour.

Dr. Paul Shinto and his team of Pasadena Dentists have the remarkable CEREC Crowns system in the office eliminating the need for messy dental impressions and temporary dental crowns.

Traditional Dental Crowns

Conventional dental crowns are caps that encircle or cover your tooth. Dental crowns are also typically bonded to your tooth; your dentist will use dental cement to secure the dental crowns. Crowns can also be used to strengthen and improve the appearance of your teeth. Traditional Dental Crowns are made from various metals. Sometimes a dentist will use metal, porcelain fused to metal or porcelain for conventional dental crowns.

CEREC Crowns

CEREC uses CAD/CAM dentistry. Simply put, CAD/CAM dentistry allows Dr. Paul Shinto and his team of Pasadena Dentists to design and manufacture your new dental crown in a single dental appointment. You can literally have a new dental crown made and placed the same day.

The Appointment

During your CEREC Crowns dental appointment, Dr. Paul Shinto and his team of Pasadena Dentists will take digital pictures of your teeth and gums. Once the pictures are loaded to the computer, Dr. Shinto will make any necessary adjustments so that your new CEREC Crown fits perfectly. Once a shade is chosen, your new crown will be sent to the in-office CEREC milling machine for manufacture. During this time, you are free to relax, check email, or watch television while you wait for your new dental crown. When your crown is ready, it will be bonded and polished to match the rest of your smile.

If you are tired of your old metal crowns or need new dental crowns, call or click and schedule a no obligation CEREC Crowns consultation with Dr. Paul Shinto and his team of Pasadena Dentists today.
